Vintage "Paper Knife" bench and armchair set by Kai Kristiansen

Scandinavian set consisting of an armchair and a 3-seater sofa, designed by Kaï Kristansen for Magnus Olesen in 1955. Model No. 121, better known as the "Paper Knife" in reference to the characteristic curved shape of its profiled armrests. Tapered legs. The set is both light, solid and stable, and in a very good condition (just a few light marks on one armrest and 3 new springs, the other springs are original and still very effective). A "Magnus Olesen" label attests to the authenticity of the furniture. The solid teak structure has a lovely warm squirrel brown color. It has been completely cleaned and renovated with non-toxic and environmentally friendly products. The cushions are new (covers and interior foams). To facilitate their maintenance, they are all removable thanks to a zipper. Quality seats and backrest: Premium High Resilience Foam 38kg/m3 (medium/firm or semi-firm comfort). Long-lasting and very comfortable. Thick and durable woven pistachio green fabric, lined at the back, flame retardant and UV resistant.
