Pair of vintage earthenware dishes from Sarreguemines, 1970s

Beautiful pair of oval serving dishes in Sarreguemines earthenware, dating from the 1970s. On a finely speckled cream background, large stylised flowers are hand-painted in shades of orange and brown, with a slightly raised texture effect, as if printed in the glaze. A brown border highlights the edge. Perfect for serving olives, crudités, toast or canapés, or to place on a coffee table or shelf for a warm vintage feel. Marked "Sarreguemines France" and "dishwasher safe" on the reverse. In superb condition, with no chips or cracks, and the decoration intact. Light crazing of the glaze on the reverse, normal for its age. Dimensions: 23 x 14.5 x 2.5 cm. Careful packaging. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the items and their delivery.
