Antique wooden farmhouse tripod (side) chair, 1900s

Beautiful and unique antique wooden farmhouse tripod (side) chair from the Netherlands, 1900s. Highly decorative and unusual design with a thick wooden seat and a backrest that resembles two feet with a small thick wooden backrest in between. The chair is not straight and appears out of balance, making it interesting to look at. It is stable and strong enough to sit on, but also great as a decorative piece. In good vintage condition with patina and some old woodworm holes in the backrest. See all images for a good impression. Dimensions: Height 83 cm, Width 40 cm, Depth 48 cm, Seat height 44 cm.
