Superb Portuguese wall plate from the prestigious Estrela de Conimbriga factory, founded in 1975 in Condeixa-a-Nova, heir to the centuries-old expertise of Coimbra faience. This exceptional piece belongs to the "XVIIᵉ Colours" collection, which reinterprets the motifs of 17th and 18th-century faience in a luminous and refined palette. Entirely hand-painted, it features a rich decoration: hares, birds, and deer move within floral cartouches on a pink checkered background, framed by ornamental motifs inspired by ancient azulejos. The remarkably fine composition reveals the expert touch of the artisan, signed Estrela de Conimbriga / Fernando on the reverse. A decorative work in its own right, perfect as a wall centerpiece or at the center of a composition of artistic earthenware, ideal for lovers of elegant Mediterranean decor or collectors of Portuguese ceramics. Handwritten signature on the reverse. Diameter 34 cm, height 3.5 cm. Very good vintage condition (see photos). An exceptional piece combining artisanal heritage and decorative refinement, in a bohemian chic style.
