Trio of Art Deco chairs, 1930 No. 643 by Thonet-Mundus

Set of 3 art deco chairs from 1925/30 by Thonet - Mundus, it is a half bistro type chair, solid, in very good condition, like many products manufactured by Thonet between the two wars, it is stained cherry. The model presented here is clearly made to order with front legs out of catalog then optional. It bears the number a 643 in the 1930 catalog. It is a derivative of a model designed by kohn in 1910, we find it at all manufacturers with 3 to 6 bars. (see doc.) Thonet Mundus chairs were only labeled "paper" in these years of production.
