early 19th century mahogany bookcase

Superb English mahogany bookcase from the early 19th century, William IV period. This beautiful English mahogany piece is distinguished by its high quality and small size, which gives it considerable charm. Indeed, it is rare to find a bookcase of this size: not too tall, and 91 cm wide. The lower section has a door, while the upper section is glazed, and the door is decorated with astragal glazed wood molding, typical of English bookcases. A very fine example with carved uprights and mahogany with a superb flame-like grain. Original shelves with a beautiful patina. Beautiful patina and in superb condition.
