Chair Thonet Bistrot de Vienne N°19, around 1880

The model n°19 with round seat is frequent, so the chair proposed here very rare is trapezoidal seat, the seat belt is grooved on its perimeter of the double lip of the high-end models, small turned capitals adorn the upper part of the front feet. Beautiful stamp (before 1882) under the seat. Very beautiful color "blond walnut", excellent state of structure and conservation. It can be used on a daily basis. Cannage has been refurbished in the six-wire manual tradition. The chair has 120 holes that allow the "feines geflecht", so a very tight and solid cannage, almost woven. (the photos!!)
