Solid pine work table, presumably from an architect's workshop or a technical office from the 1950s-60s. The top, made of three wide planks, is traversed along its entire length by two symmetrical grooves framing the central plank: a functional detail characteristic of work tables from this era, intended for the passage of a ruler or a drawing tool on each side. The legs reflect the understated vocabulary of modernist collective furniture: four straight legs with a square section, connected by a low H-shaped stretcher. No ornamentation, sharp angles, a principle of sturdiness. The deep brown hue of the pine, enhanced by a satin finish, accentuates the austere and graphic character of the piece. An object with dual purpose: a dining table for those seeking a reasonable size and a strong character, or a large desk for a contemporary interior. Reference LDP: 20260416-002. Dimensions: L 190 X D 80 X H 80 cm, under the apron 66 cm. Materials: Solid pine.
