Very beautiful old painting (oil on canvas from the 20th century) depicting the famous Cap Roux in the Estérel Massif, on the French Mediterranean coast. This work is signed by the Toulouse artist Eliette Debru-Viguier (post-impressionist/regional expressionist movement). The technique is characterised by a superb textured impasto stroke, giving a striking relief to the characteristic red rock cliffs of the region, beautifully contrasting with the turquoise and deep blue hues of the sea.
