Thonet bistro chair N°55 3/4 circa 1920 - year -

Thonet chair n° 55 3/4 with the option "foot support hoops". Canning obviously recent in very good condition. Ready for service. Seat height: 47 cm. Total height: 86 cm. The model n ° 55 - 3 /4 is rectangular seat (36x39), it is more remarkable than the 55 -1/2 which has only a round seat of 37 cm. (see catalog page 1928) There is a stamp and a Thonet label (second), probably dating 1920/22. It is Kohn with his No. 55 of 1900 who is the precursor of this pretty chair derived from the accents of the famous Loos of the same manufacturer. We can equip this chair free of charge with screwed skates (origin Germany), adapted by their material to the coating of the room where it will be used. Work done after purchase.
