Powdery pinks, yellows, reds, and old rose blend against a dark background that adds depth to the composition. The painting is mounted on a cardboard panel and protected under glass, presented in a round, gold frame in the Louis XVI style, adorned with fine mouldings and small tied ornaments. The whole piece possesses the delicacy of old floral compositions, with bold colours and generous painting. The painting and its frame show some slight signs of age, which are normal for an antique piece from the 1900s, but remain in very good decorative condition.
