The stainless steel surface features a rim with an embossed dot pattern and is fitted with striking black handles. The tray combines industrial design with the designer's signature style. Michael Graves. Born in Indianapolis, he was a professor of architecture at Princeton starting in 1962. His architectural works include the Portland Building and the Humana Building, the expansion of the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Newark Museum.
