Shepherdess cabriolet in molded and carved wood decorated with flowers and foliage. Arched feet. Louis XV period. Stamped nt porrot, received master in 1761. Height: 95cm. Larg.: 65. Prof: 75. This seat has been completely restored in the traditional rules by craftsmen of trades (cabinetmaking, tapestry). Lelièvre damask fabric at 280 € per meter. Tapestry redone to nine. Ready to pose. A furniture carpenter, noël-toussaint porrot was received master in paris in 1761. He settled on rue du pont-aux-choux where he practised for more than twenty-five years. The gilding painter desfontaines contributed to the embellishment of his works. He specializes in seats and is particularly fond of small convertible armchairs in the louis XV style. He also produced louis XVI seats, with various shapes. Overall, all his furniture was well proportioned, beautifully carved but without much originality. His mark was noted on two small armchairs with hectic contours and a beautiful louis XVI seat, decorated with pearls and rows of piastres.
