Exceptional French floor lamp from the 1950s with dual function: warm ambient lighting + 2 supports for hanging plants. This rare model embodies post-war furniture innovation where each piece had to maximise space. The swan-neck scrolls, a signature of French wrought iron artisans, create a luminous sculpture filled with greenery. The original speckled opaline shade diffuses a soft light that brightens an entire room. Rare highlights: Intact opaline shade (extremely rare after 70 years) Vermilion red colour (10× rarer than black) Functional articulated swan neck. Handmade wrought ironwork (hand-sculpted scrolls) Sufficient main lighting (15-20m²) Condition: Good vintage (70 years). Sturdy metal, opaline without cracks, slight normal patinas. Electrical system replaced for safety. H 172 cm|Shade Ø 16 cm|Tripod base 47 cm|5 kg. Triple design function: lighting + reading + plant decoration.
