Antique sauce boat Jules Vieillard & Cie Bordeaux – Garland model - Fine earthenware 19th century

Magnificent antique sauceboat on a stand from the Jules Vieillard & Cie factory in Bordeaux, model Guirlande. A very beautiful piece in fine earthenware, particularly elegant due to its flowing shape, its two crafted handles, and its blue decoration of floral garlands. The sauceboat rests on its matching stand and bears the mark J. Vieillard & Cie Bordeaux on the reverse. A superb piece of antique Bordeaux tableware, ideal for completing a Jules Vieillard service or for a lovely antique table. It is in generally good condition for its age. Notable is a small hairline inside, which is not through, a discreet small crack at a decorative knot that remains perfectly stable, as well as a tiny chip under the stand, visible in the photos. Some light signs of use and old irregularities may also be present. The whole remains very decorative and full of charm.
