Art glass lamp by Bengt Orup for Hyllinge Glasbruk

This is a beautiful and elegant vintage lamp base made of hand-blown glass, created by the talented Bengt Orup for Hyllinge glasbruk, Sweden. The piece has a simple and modern conical shape. What makes it so special are the colours: a white base sprinkled with thousands of tiny black dots, making it a unique and sophisticated piece that will fit into any interior. Sweden, 1970. Total height with the socket: 41 cm, diameter: 12 cm. In very good condition. Note: this lamp is fitted with a standard European plug, has been recently re-wired, and requires an E27 screw bulb.
