Mid-century pair of wall lights with 2 bulbs — opaline, brass & black lacquer

Elegant pair of mid-century wall sconces, circa 1950-1960. Patinated brass structure with a central body lacquered in black, featuring 2 curved arms per sconce ending in white tulips with a beautiful opaline effect. The tulips have a very successful opaline appearance and seem to be made of vintage material such as PMMA/Plexiglas, a material also used in vintage pieces from this period. Pull cord operation. ✨Graphic and sculptural design, very decorative. In excellent overall condition, with a lovely original patina on the brass.
