For sale: a magnificent mask inspired by the Baoulé (Ivory Coast), entirely hand-carved from an extremely dense and heavy precious wood (Ebony or ironwood). Exceptional weight: 2.9 kg (a guarantee of the authenticity of the solid wood) Dimensions: Height 35 cm. Details: Very fine carving work on the hairstyle and facial features. Artisan carving marks are visible on the back (see photos). Condition: Excellent condition, superb shiny patina.
