Sublime and extremely rare set of 3 fine porcelain pieces from the iconic "Flash" collection (Studio-Linie), designed in 1982 by the renowned American artist and designer Dorothy Hafner for the prestigious German manufacturer Rosenthal. A true manifesto of postmodern design and the influence of the Italian Memphis movement, this service stands out with its very graphic asymmetrical geometric lines and bold decorations combining bursts of colour, contrasting flat areas, and checkerboard patterns. The set includes: • 1 large jug (teapot / coffee pot) with its geometric lid. • 1 sugar bowl with its original lid. • 1 milk jug / creamer. Each piece bears the Rosenthal Germany Studio-Linie authenticity stamp as well as the designer's signature on its base. Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
