Small side table made of white, grey, and beige petrified wood. Petrified wood is a fossilised wood (from the same family as magnolia) dating back 20 million years. Silica has replaced the wood fibres molecule by molecule, resulting in silicified wood. The fossilisation process is slow, allowing for the distinct patterns of the trees to be visible. Petrified wood is a noble material that lies between granite and precious stones. This modular furniture can serve as a side table, end table, or stool.
