Dimensions: height 12 cm • length 19 cm • width 9 cm. Weight 1.9 kg. Bubbles and traces inherent to the artisanal production of glass are present (including a small black inclusion, see last photo). There is a small, barely visible chip (see last photo) *** About Vladislav Urban: A graduate of Karol štipl, he studied with Frantisek Vízner, to whom he was often compared. After their studies, Vízner and Urban began working as designers for the Rudolfa Hut glassworks, where Rudolf Jurnikl had worked since 1958. This strong trio, Jurnikl Vízner Urban, gave Czechoslovak pressed glass a unique appearance. Urban came up with the idea of casting molds directly from the model. This is how he enriched the pressed glass assortment with numerous models, which work with different structures. The distinctive structure is created by bruising the structure of the material from which the model is made. Vladislav Urban's works are characterized by a square shape, a distinctive texture, and varied decorations. *** Careful shipping.
