Information: born in tunis, paul butti (1924-2004) is an abstract painter active in france from the 1950s to the end of the 20th century. He regularly exhibited at the salon de mai (from 1952 to 1960) then at the salon des réalités nouvelles (from 1969 to 1979) or at the corzo gallery, amsterdam. Some of his works appear in public collections in france and abroad but most are in private collections (notably that of joris van grinsven, in dordogne).
