Pair of ceramic fruit bowls from Italy Due Torri

This pair of hollow ceramic fruit dishes, square and beveled, comes from a 1970s-80s collection by the Italian brand due torri. The glazed set is charming with its hand-painted motifs in the style of a natural history plate: peaches and pears on their flowering or sliced branches, details of the pits or buds. The edge of each piece is dressed with a pretty marbled green frieze, like a stamp, one of the house's signatures. Originally for fruits, they can also be diverted into colorful and vitamin-rich pocket emptiers! Good vintage condition, except for one or two rubbing marks from use, barely visible because at the level of the marbled edges, or under the base of one of them (see photos).
