Pair of Giacomo Buzzitta walnut armchairs by Stow Davis

Sold in pairs - Rare and incredibly amazing executive lounge chairs from the 1960s designed by Giacomo "Jack" Buzzitta and manufactured by Stow Davis in the late 1960s. The chairs feature a beautiful and discreet design built in solid walnut and freshly finished with vintage tweed upholstery. These are high-quality examples from one of the most underrated designers of the time! This sculptural pair of beauties is beautifully shaped in both frames and features a beautiful intricate wood grain throughout. They are very robust but wonderfully detailed. The upholstered seats are quite original, and the chairs seem straight out of the Mad Men set! They would also be absolutely wonderful reupholstered. There are no tears or tears, and the padding is of very high quality and appropriate for the time.
