Wooden box for wall mounting, mail holder

This wooden box is very practical because it has a size that is considered large and has the ideal format to be placed on the wall to display and organize magazines, newspapers, books and all kinds of paperwork. By the way, when I bought this box, the gentleman who sold it to me quickly told me that this box belonged to a construction company, which used it to leave magazines and technical newspapers available for reading for its workers and also clients. As far as I know this box was in the entrance room of the company's offices. That said, I can say that this exhibitor/organizer/display box can be displayed on the wall. It is a simple object, all in chipboard. The base of the box is narrower than the top. The back is longer and has holes in the ends of the top to be fixed to the wall. At the front we can see that the cut is round, precisely to better grip and also to use the box. It is not very old, as far as I could tell it was made in the workshops of that company in the 80s/90s of the last century. It seems to me that it is slightly varnished or with some treatment in the wood. This box is very solid and robust. The wood, despite having many marks of use and wear, is in good vintage condition. But of course we can see that the box is very scratched, very stained and even with chips on the edges of the wood. I recommend you to see in detail all the photos of this box. Like all vintage pieces and objects, this wall display box shows the signs of wear and tear, already listed above, but I repeat, it's very solid and robust. These signs actually give the box some charm and uniqueness. It's a very simple box, to exhibit and decorate a space. Don't forget that the magazine we see in the photos is just an element of composition, it's not part of the piece.
