Vintage side table with magazine rack, 1960s

Mid-century side table, vintage, with an integrated magazine rack on two sides and a small drawer, from the 1960s. Made of wood, with a teak colour finish and rich hues, this piece from the "Mad Men" era features two elegantly designed side panels resting on four sculpted legs (two on each side), which extend upwards above the shelf and end with beautiful curved handles with rounded edges, making it easy to move from one place to another (see photos). Under the shelf, in the middle, there is a small drawer that opens and closes properly, with its original brass-coloured knob, inside which is a circular brass ashtray. Today, it could be used to store coins or other small items (see photos). The piece is in generally good condition, original and vintage, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use corresponding to the time; slight discolouration, as well as a patina of time, across the entire structure (see photos), and a slight patina on the knob. There are a few small veneer losses on the inside of the magazine racks (interior) but nothing that affects its beauty or usability. The ashtray is clean with minor signs of age and previous use (see photos). The piece has only been lightly dusted and oiled, respecting its original patina. This table is very versatile; it can be used in various ways. Its clean-lined design makes it a distinctive accent piece that will fit into any space. All photos were taken indoors, in natural light.
