Large Louis-Philippe fireplace mirror, stamp 1899

Large rectangular chimney mirror with rounded corners, wooden frame and gilded stucco decorated with relief scrolls and pearls. The antique mirror shows a natural patina, with wear, small losses and cracks on the stucco, and a few very light spots on the glass. On the back, a readable oval stamp indicates: 'ARGENTURE PERFECTIONNÉE 1 MAR. 99', dating the manufacture or re-silvering to the late 19th century. An authentic object, consistent with French production of the period, ideal for a fireplace or period wall decoration. In very good vintage condition with a superb original patina.
