Vallauris frying pan with "Aux Chardons" motif, by Etienne Daniel

Etienne Daniel is the ceramist known for his thistle designs from Vallauris in the 1950s and 60s. This decoration featuring purple thistles is his signature. A very nice handled pan, made of glazed ceramic, hand-decorated, signed on the reverse. In perfect condition, with no defects in the glazing, nor cracks, chips, or flakes. White interior, without stains or scratches. Diameter: 18.5 cm. Height: 12 cm. Total length: 27.5 cm. Weight: 1.5 kg.
