Biedermeier chest of drawers, first half of the 19th century, Germany

We are pleased to offer for sale a chest of drawers from the biedermeier period. The piece of furniture comes from germany and its construction dates back to 1830-1850. The chest of drawers has been thoroughly and professionally renovated and is in perfect condition both technically and visually. The surface is finished with shellac polish, applied by hand with a pad to a high-gloss finish with smoothed pores, which in addition to the excellent visual effect protects and cares for the wood. The natural colouring has been preserved, revealing the grain of the wood in a beautiful way. The structure of the furniture is rigid and stable.
