Bursts of color – set of two gaston gaubier bowls for morvan. Each bowl is a small work of art. Created by gaston gaubier, a ceramist close to the tammay pottery, these matching bowls reveal all the richness of artisanal work that is both understated and poetic. What they have in common: soft, balanced shapes, a beautiful thickness of turned clay, and the patina so characteristic of handcrafted pieces. What sets them apart: their unique hues, ranging from soft navy blue to deep brown, including warm shades of green, pink, and yellow. A warm monochrome, perfect for a bohemian table or an eclectic collection. These vibrant colors are achieved through a subtle blend of metal oxides (iron, copper, manganese, etc.) incorporated into the glazes, a technique mastered by gaubier and other ceramists inspired by tammay's legacy. A bit of history: based in the morvan region of tammay-en-bazois, the vincent family perpetuates a craftsmanship passed down through several generations. Influenced by the aesthetics of salt-fired and flamed stoneware, their creations combine rusticity and refinement, in the great tradition of burgundian potters. A perfect gift or a treat for yourself, for a stylish breakfast or simply the pleasure of living ceramics. In very good condition. Signed under each piece. Very shiny, no chips or cracks. Dimensions: diameter 14 cm, height 7 cm.
