XXL hand-knotted Persian Mashad Moud carpet in wool, 1930s

In this advertisement, you will find a spectacular large Persian Mashad Moud rug. The design features a prominent medallion, often referred to as a "dome medallion, " which is a signature element in several Persian weaving traditions. Moud is known for its detailed Herati patterns and central medallions, often with a diverse colour palette, in this case ranging from fuchsia, ivory, and blue, to green and yellow details captured in a complex floral design. Handwoven, naturally dyed wool, made around the 1930s. The rug is in good vintage condition, with some signs of age and use, as shown in the photos.
