Very beautiful painting of english countryside (located near sudbury, a town in the district of babergh in the county of suffolk in england, close to the county of cornard) made in oil on cardboard panel probably made by james emery (1819-1899) - see photo of the signature. Many indications on the back of the work, location, gallery label etc etc... Very beautiful craftsmanship, particularly bright and in good condition, the varnish may deserve a light cleaning - everything is visible on photos, contractual. The frame is offered with (period, some wear and minimal retouching) panel size: 17.5 / 24.5 cm, with frame: 35 / 41 cm.
