Adorable little enamelled ceramic pitcher in olive green, khaki and fir tones which can be used as a milk jug on the breakfast table or displayed in accumulation with other artisanal ceramics. Below, the stamp “grès migeon, la borne, cher, turned hand”. Jean migeon took over this workshop at the beginning of the 1960s and although having passed the workshop on to didier potelune in 1998 (the latter had been training at his place since the end of the 1970s), in 2018 at the age of 86 he continued to welcome customers on occasion! I will date this pitcher to the 60s or 70s but I am awaiting confirmation from didier potelune who perpetuates the tradition by making this workshop the oldest still in operation in la borne. This pitcher is in perfect condition, no cracks or chips. It measures 10 cm in height, 7 cm in diameter and 8 cm in width including the handle.
