This delicate jug is made of white Sarreguemines porcelain. It is a delightful milk jug or creamer. With a delicate, well-rounded "Viennese" shape, it has a thin handle and a spout. The porcelain is molded with twisted ribs and small raised dots. In the Baroque style, this jug bears the Sarreguemines mark: the green Lorraine coat of arms, and dates from the early 20th century. Sarreguemines porcelain is much rarer than earthenware; this factory only produced porcelain in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Delicate decorations and extremely fine porcelain are the hallmarks of Sarreguemines porcelain. In beautiful condition, it has a shine and discreet traces of use. Its dimensions: 14 cm high X 12 cm wide.
