The youthful, inclined face emerges from a material worked in bursts — curly hair treated in high relief, smooth and idealised features according to the ancient canon. The contrast between the polished face and the roughness of the hair and base reveals the hand of the modeller. A work that engages in dialogue with the great tradition of head sculpture, from ancient Greece to Rodin. Original edition from 1992, limited to four hundred numbered and signed copies. Signed "C.
