Bronze cup

2547 - antique cup with 2 handles on bronze stand resting on a base in white veined red marble after claude michel dit clodion (1738-1814) in the state (see all the photos that are part of this description). Ovoid shape with circular decoration of a frieze decorated with centaur and centauss, puttis, trees, a lyre, a cornucopia and dishes, a leafy garland, etc. The foot appears to have been reattached. An example of questioning the genre in imperial times with the presence of centaurs on this vase. Height 172 mm X 165 mm with handles. Weight 1340 g. Old and really rare object that deserves a beautiful restoration. Neat and tracked shipment.
