Travertin 'Finale' coffee table by Draenert 1970s

Exquisite 'Finale 1790' coffee table by German designer Peter Draenert, dating from the 1970s. The table combines a large round travertine top and rounded travertine base with a metal central support. The natural veining and open structure of the travertine give the table plenty of character, while the metal element creates a refined contrast and gives the top a light, almost floating appearance. A well-balanced design in which material, construction and proportion come together beautifully. The table is in very good vintage condition.
