Ceramic vase elchinger france

Superb ceramic vase signed ELCHINGER FRANCE, featuring a graphic and contrasting design that combines a bright red-orange with a speckled black. Its conical silhouette, elegantly resting on a slight pedestal, is enhanced by a play of glazes mixing matte, granular, and glossy effects. A stylised leaf adorns each of the two sides of the vase, giving this piece a balanced and expressive decoration. This vegetal motif evokes the aesthetic of Matisse's cut-out papers. The interior, coated in a deep black enamel, reinforces the contrast with the exterior colours. This ceramic showcases the craftsmanship of the Alsatian manufacturer Elchinger, based in Soufflenheim, in the Bas-Rhin. Its modernist aesthetic, warm hues, and material work make it a characterful decorative piece, ideal for a vintage or contemporary interior.
