oak bible chest - 17th century

Superb and unique small oak Bible chest from the 17th century. Small table or side piece with an exceptional patina. It consists of a chest in the upper part with a very beautiful wrought iron entrance that was used to store Bibles. The chest rests on its small table, which has a drawer in the waist. This is its original table, which is rare as tables often get lost over time. The table features very beautiful turning. An uncommon piece with an interesting dimension and a superb original patina.
