Statuette of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux | bouquet of roses and crucifix H 31 cm

Religious object. An old plaster statuette representing Thérèse of Lisieux, her face serene beneath her veil, holding a bouquet of roses and a crucifix close to her. The roses are sculpted in relief and highlighted with pink and red, and the collar is accented with a patinated golden trim. Other roses are placed on the base at her feet. A devotional object from the first half of the 20th century, commonly found in homes, bedrooms, and small chapels. It has been delicately cleaned without altering the material or patina and retains its original condition. Dimensions and weight: Height: 22 cm. Width: 8 cm. Depth: 6 cm. Net weight: 355 g. Overall good condition for an old plaster piece. It shows the patina of time, minor wear to the polychromy, some speckles, and small period losses (notably at the edge of the sleeve). Base with a brown hue of antiquity. No visible restoration. See the photos, which are part of the description. Ideal for: A cabinet of curiosities. Spiritual decoration, a prayer corner, or a chapel. A collection of antique religious objects. A baptism, communion gift, or for a devout friend of Saint Thérèse. Careful shipping, protective packaging suitable for the fragility of plaster.
