Set of 6 coffee cups and saucers Villeroy & Boch, vintage, Botanica

A charming Villeroy & Boch set, model Botanica, both elegant, delicate, and very decorative. Here I offer 6 coffee cups accompanied by their 6 matching saucers, from the famous Botanica collection by Villeroy & Boch. Produced in high-end fine vitro-porcelain between 1976 and 2008, this iconic series has become an absolute must-have for lovers of poetic tableware and trendy Cottagecore decor. I particularly love the charm of this service: the white porcelain highlights a beautiful botanical decoration painted with flowers, foliage, and fine plant illustrations, in very pretty shades of yellow, green, and brown, along with the botanical name Chelidonium majus in beautiful calligraphy. The saucers are also richly decorated and bear the botanical name Asperula odorata, giving the whole set a charming "old botanical cabinet" feel, very elegant. A particularly appealing set for a lovely chic country table, a classic interior, or a more contemporary decor that enjoys mixing antique pieces with beautiful porcelain. It may also interest a collector looking to complete a Botanica service. Perfect condition. No chipped or cracked pieces. No signs of use. The decorations are very well preserved. These pieces are dishwasher safe without losing their splendour. Careful shipping, with each piece individually wrapped. A second identical set of 6 cups and saucers is also for sale in my shop.
