We are proud to present a magnificent Art Deco extending dining table from the 1930s. Resting on four architecturally curved legs, this robust design provides absolute stability and makes the table a stunning, sculptural centerpiece for any elegant dining room. EXCEPTIONAL WOODWORK AND SUNBURST VENEER The tabletop is a true showcase of elite cabinetmaking. It features top-tier walnut burl veneer laid out in a mesmerizing radial sunburst pattern. The rich wood grains radiate from the center, creating a hypnotic surface that beautifully reflects the light. THE RARITY: A FULLY VENEERED EXTENSION LEAF Most pre-war extending tables had plain, unfinished extension leaves because it was assumed a tablecloth would always cover the extended table. This luxury piece breaks that rule. The 50 cm extension leaf, conveniently stored underneath the tabletop, is also beautifully veneered. As a result, the table looks incredibly elegant even when fully extended, with absolutely no need for a tablecloth. UNCOMPROMISING RESTORATION This piece has undergone a comprehensive restoration in our specialized workshop. All old, degraded varnishes were meticulously stripped down to the bare wood. The entire surface was finished with premium hard wax oil. This modern, high-end treatment provides a natural, satin-matte touch. Most importantly, it makes the table highly resistant to water, alcohol, and hot plates. You can celebrate and dine directly on this stunning wood without fear of stains.
