Ceramic salt and pepper shaker in the form of two joined half-strawberries, connected by a delicate white flower serving as a central handle. The textured surface evokes the skin of ripe strawberries, dotted with small light grains, while the green base suggests the leaves of the fruit. The interior is glazed white, creating a lovely contrast with the indulgent red of the exterior. This small decorative piece evokes the spirit of table arts from the 1950s to 1970s, when utilitarian ceramics often took forms inspired by nature and the garden. In excellent vintage condition, with well-preserved glaze and some light signs of use inside consistent with its age. There are likely workshop marks under the base. No brand or provenance indicated. Length 8.5 cm, width 4.5 cm, height 5.5 cm, depth of containers 2.5 cm. Delightfully retro, perfect for a design neo-canteen table where workshop ceramics bring texture and character.
