Duo of bowls / Pocket emptiers in slipware – Lemon & Orange

This inseparable set consists of two pieces shaped in trompe-l'œil, perfectly mimicking the texture and colours of your favourite citrus fruits: The Lemon Bowl: In a bright yellow, shaped with a grainy relief reminiscent of zest, featuring its characteristic little tip and topped with green relief leaves serving as a handle. The Orange Bowl: In a vivid orange, also replicating the dimpled texture of the fruit's skin, adorned with its two glazed green leaves. Their playful, organic design and shiny glaze make them typical pieces of fancy tableware from the 1970s/1980s. In very good overall condition. The colours have remained vibrantly fresh. Note a slight natural crazing of the glaze under the bases (visible in the photos), which is quite normal for ceramics of this era and guarantees their authenticity. No major cracks or chips.
