Mahogany console table - Louis XVI style

We are selling a superb louis XVI style mahogany selette dating from the end of the 19th century / beginning of the 20th century. Resting on 4 arched legs, it has a spacer topped with a pretty decorative spinning top. The base and the apron are richly decorated with chiseled brass. The hexagonal top, in veined white onyx, is surrounded by an openwork brass gallery. An antique piece of furniture with a lot of character and cachet, strong enough to safely accommodate a large statue or a plant. A favorite! In very good condition, small crack restored on the top (see photo). Dimensions: h: 102 cm / top diameter: 32 cm / max width on the ground: 42 cm.
