Wooden seat stool with metal legs

Beautiful industrial-style stool with an old turned wooden seat and a black painted tubular metal base. It is original and may be the result of upcycling. Indeed, the wooden seat is marked, scratched, and has a patina that makes me think it comes from an old stool, but the base seems more recent and raises questions: four legs are not common, the tubular metal is quite thick and sturdy, the legs unscrew from the part attached to the wood, I had never seen this system before, and the cut of the legs at the bottom is perpendicular to the leg and not parallel to the ground, strange for a stool. The rubber pads were worn out, so I replaced them. This stool is in generally good condition, solid, stable but has signs of use: the wood has scratches and various marks, and the black lacquer is scratched on the legs. It measures 34 cm in height, the seat has a diameter of 30 cm with a thickness of 3 cm. The base forms a quadrilateral of approximately 30 cm on each side. The legs may be unscrewed for shipping if I deem it safer, and in that case, I would number the legs and their original positions.
