Bauhaus-style desk by WK Möbel, walnut, 1960s

A stylish desk from Deutsche Werkstätten für Wohnkunst, featuring the minimalist design language of the Bauhaus combined with typical attributes of the 1960s. The high-quality craftsmanship typical of WK Möbel is evident in the perfectly mirrored walnut veneer and the desk’s exceptional sturdiness. At the front, 2 compartments and 4 drawers offer plenty of space for office supplies, and with its equally attractive rear design, the desk can be positioned anywhere in the room. The desk is made predominantly from veneered panels; the drawers, handles and leg structure are solid. It is fully glued, meaning it cannot be dismantled for transport. Unfortunately, the key for the drawer lock on the right is missing. The desk has been sanded and finished with a silk-matt lacquer.
