This beautiful standing display dish can highlight a cake or present appetizers or fruit on the table. It is made of iron earth, with a very fine blue floral decoration and is part of the anemone service. Its stamp below indicates that it comes from the earthenware factory of clairefontaine whose anchor was the acronym. But also to date it quite precisely, because the initials lg for léon graves indicate that it dates from between 1894 and 1913, period when léon graves directed the manufacture. It is in rather good condition, no cracks, but does not hide its past hundred years: a slight abrasion of the varnish and a slight coloration on the upper rim as well as a tiny shine on the same rim, and in the flat, two or three small scratches and a small non-perforating hole (a kind of small cavity) hidden in the decor and which is therefore not obvious. It measures 22.5 cm in diameter, 8.5 cm in height and weighs about 600 g.
