Capiz shell and brass pendant light

Magnificent vintage mother-of-pearl pendant from the 1970s, entirely made from genuine Capiz shells and brass. This type of pendant was very popular in the 1970s. The translucent facets are made from real marine window shells, assembled and set by a brass metal structure. The lampshade takes on a bulging shape reminiscent of the Tiffany style, topped with a scalloped collar, adorned with delicate floral patterns and painted green leaves. The mother-of-pearl filters the light to provide a soft illumination and a bohemian or retro atmosphere. Dimensions: diameter 35 cm, height 22 cm. E27 plastic socket (max 6W, LED recommended). 0.8 m coloured braided textile cord. Cylindrical brushed brass metal ceiling rose (diameter 12 cm, height 2.5 cm).
