We are delighted to offer for sale this Victorian Chesterfield sofa in oxblood leather, featuring hand-carved lion heads on the armrests, in an absolutely stunning English Georgian style. The hand-stained finish has aged elegantly and complements the rest of the room. The wooden structure is complete and rich. Previous restorations are visible, as one would expect for a piece of this era. The base is a traditional platform with coil springs and a central torsion support, typical of the finest cabinet makers like Howard & Son's and Jas Shoolbred.
